Image of Mookies

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine or oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup yogurt or 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips and/or raisins
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2/3 cup chopped nuts
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients. Leave out 1/4 cup to mix with chips, raisins, and nuts.
  3. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients.
  4. Add chip and nut mixture.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
